Newcastle Student Cribs

I have been really busy shooting student accommodation in the fantastic city of Newcastle. The first time in Newcastle was for the full week followed a few weeks later with a couple of days and then last week pretty much another full week.

I was given an assistant to help with what we had on the cards and we travelled throughout the city (mostly the student area of Jesmond). Supplied with soft bedroom furnishings, a few plastic plants and a couple of lamps we had to dress all the empty rooms and photograph them looking all cosy and lived in. The most recent trip (last week) it was a whole different story as we had to try and do the same but this time most of the accommodation was tenanted, this proved very difficult indeed. I thought that I would have had some resistance with some of the students having their personal space invaded but most could not have been more accommodating! I managed to get all the properties shot and made it home in one piece very happy to get back to the family!
